Joi Derisma has been a licensed massage therapist since 2001, graduating from Florida College of Natural Health, Miami. Joi has been licensed in Colon Hydrotherapy since 2003, receiving her training certification from Woods Hygienic Institute in Kissimmee, Florida. In 2005, she received a second training certification from American Institute of Natural Health, Phoenix, Arizona.
In 2004, Joi completed aesthetics training and graduated from Fienberg/Fisher Education Center, Miami Beach, Florida.
In 2007, Joi was nominated by the editor of Spa Finder Magazine as one of the best therapist in the United States, and was inducted into the Massage Therapist Hall of Fame.
Ms. Derisma became a certified lymphedema therapist in 2008. In January of 2018, she became a Medical Massage Practitioner. Joi also holds certifications in Thai Massage, Shiatsu, A-Shiatsu, Mother Massage*, Reiki Master, Hot Stone Massage, and Oncology Massage.
Joi thoroughly enjoys promoting wellness in each and every session, focusing on the needs of each individual. This is carried out with integrity, compassion, and using a variety of techniques.
Outside of work Joi's passions are jogging, biking, yoga, reading, meditating, and preparing plant based food.
